Got all the accessories I could not find back in Singapore – Nikon HR-2 rubber hood for the Nikkor 50mm F/1.8D and Nikon HB-32 hood for my trusted Nikkor 18-105mm F/3.5-5.6G VR today. They are just cheaper here!

And today, having traveled the entire Kowloon area, managed to extract about 100 shots from the city. Tomorrow will be my last day here in HK, before my trip to Seattle begins 3 days after my arrival back home. So, I will attempt to explore the older part of Hong Kong if I can. Tai-O is just beautiful, with many good shots there too.

More to come…

This saver really works if you are on a long shoot session! But if you tighten it a little too firm, your thumb may have problem turning the back dial of your camera, but overall also provide an additional tripod adapter on the base of the AH-4. Made in Japan if it means anything to you…$50.

You’ve got everything! And I mean almost everything! Sci-Fi, army rangers, Fairy tales…they must have thought about everything and squeeze them into such a small footprint of space. This is no Disneyland you know.

The wharf is actually built to attract the gamblers’ kids, with every known stuff to kids made available, including a small theme park and giant robots and even a MADE IN USA mall!

This is how the city looks like, with most crowds sleeping in until noon time, where activities will then begin to pick up. Well, that’s just because they would usually be gambling late into the wee hours of the day I was told…

It must be a day much remembered by the kids as the island sprang to life with bunny lanterns everywhere. A day which is usually accompanied by a dinner feast in the family.

In contrast to the many multi-million dollar Casino hotels littering the whole island of Macao, you can also see extremely old factory buildings next to these lavish hotels, abandoned and neglected. Well, this one’s just next to where I stayed, proving a point how private sector in certain industry – services, has left other sunset industries behind.
