It’s linked. The more you can do them, the easier you can handle your camera’s massive weight! Thinking back when doing twenty successive chin-ups is normal, I am struggling to get back my form recently to six a go! Well, that’s 15 years ago! But with some persistency, it should not be too difficult a task. With an additional 300g with the Nikkor 70-300mm F/4.5-5.6 VR lens, this muscle build-up on my wrist is a sure welcome!

So, far, it’s fast becoming a norm to carry the body with the SB-900 too…making it a hefty 2.3kg on my right wrist! A deja-vu feeling related to carrying the M-16 field rifle in the good old days of military service.
