Nikon MB-D10 – Is it Still A Necessity? September 2, 2009

Through the months, I have grown accustomed to shooting with a battery grip on my Nikon D90 and it has helped provide a tremendous support when shooting for longer hours truly. But when I recently began to shoot with the new Nikon D300s that boast 7 fps, the sheer increased bulk of the body has somewhat make the Nikon D90 look like a Nikon D60 to me.

Even though the Nikon MB-D10 adds an additional frame per second and an extra battery compartment, I am somewhat skeptical to want to use one anymore with this new camera. At $270, its not exactly on my hit list for now…
